Ryan Thomas says he’s desperate to ‘move on’ from Roxanne Pallett punch-gate and says he’s taking a break from reality TV

Roxanne wrongly accused the actor, 34, of punching her during their time in the Celebrity Big Brother house

RYAN Thomas has revealed he wants to move on from his feud with Roxanne Pallett, and is taking a break from reality TV.

The actor, 34, entered the Celebrity Big Brother house last month, but was immediately thrown into drama when Roxanne accused him of punching her.

The former Emmerdale actress later quit the show and apologised to Ryan, but still faced huge backlash from the public.

While viewers rallied round Ryan, he has now admitted he's sick of talking about it, and instead wants to focus on the more important things in life.

He told MailOnline: "I've been asked about it so many times and I just want to move on from it now... I want to focus on family and friends.

"I'm so tired of the same question. All my family have said about it is how proud they are of me and Celebrity Big Brother and they're all really positive and there's been no question about it."

Despite being crowned champion of the Channel 5 show, Ryan said he has no plans to do any other reality TV for a while.

He added of his upcoming projects: "I'm taking a break from reality.

"I would never say never to anything and I said that when I left Corrie but I'm just happy how I am."

The incident with Roxanne prompted 25,000 complaints to Ofcom, which is now deciding whether the show broke the rules over the episodes.

Speaking on This Morning after the final, Ryan confessed he was terrified the police were going to be called, as he feared he really had hurt Roxanne without knowing it.

He told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: "I wanted out. It was serious. I was so so frightened.

"I questioned myself. I thought, did I hurt this woman? Maybe I caught her with my ring or on her arm."
