EASTENDERS fans have been sickened after Mick Carter was branded a paedophile in prison by Stuart Highway’s criminal pals.
The Queen Vic landlord – who is played by actor Danny Dyer in the BBC soap – was beaten up by one of Stuart’s criminal friends in the harrowing episode after he was jailed on the suspicion of trying to kill his old friend.
But while Mick has been struggling to prove his innocence, predator hunter Stuart reached out to the top dog in the prison, Fraser, and told him that Mick was in fact one of the paedophiles he caught.
“Stuart, he’s a legend in here,” Fraser told Mick.
“Says he tracked you down, had you cornered like the rat that you are. He was going to destroy you and you stopped him, didn’t you?”
“He’s lying,” Mick replied to a disbelieving Fraser.
Fraser told him: “You’re one of them – a vile, twisted little nonce.”
Later as Mick tried to stop Fraser from believing Stuart’s lies, it backfired and Fraser told the entire prison what he thought Mick was.
He shouted: “We’ve got a nonce on the ward – a dirty little nonce.”
Fans were horrified as the episode ended with the other inmates screaming at Mick that he was a child abuser.

A second added: “Am actually scared for mick Carter, like prisoners thinking he’s a nonce when he ain’t.. this wont end well #EastEnders”
A third said: “If Stuart really cared about how sexual abuse affects people he wouldn’t minimise it by lying about Mick being a paedophile.”
