SUSAN BOYLE’s Britain’s Got Talent audition is still one of the most memorable moments in the show’s 11-year history.
And bosses will be hoping she can provide a few more, as they’ve signed her up for their all-star series — America’s Got Talent: The Champions.
SuBo flies to the US this week, after getting the go ahead to take part.
The show, which will be judged by Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Mel B, will see notable contestants from Got Talent shows from around the world.
A Syco source said: “Simon was delighted Susan agreed to come back.”
It’s the first public appearance in some time for the star, who has had a bumpy few years.
In 2016, Susan was forcibly removed from Heathrow Airport after behaving erratically on her way back to Scotland.
Last year it was revealed she had been subjected to a campaign of insults and intimidation
A gang of up to 15 youths, mainly young lads, targeted her in her hometown of Blackburn, West Lothian. In one incident, they set light to paper and threw it at her.
Simon now says he regrets how he acted towards Susan when he first met her in the 2009 series.
The show boss, who was judging BGT with Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden at the time, rolled his eyes and muttered “wow” during her try-out as SuBo explained she had never married and that she shared her flat with her cat.
He said earlier this year: “When I saw me, I said, ‘I actually hate my guts right now’. We were really sneery. That was the tipping point.”
I’m sure I’ve seen him be nasty since . . .
FANS waited two years to see Jodie Whittaker as the first female Time Lord . . . and now they’ve got six of them.
The actress posed with doppelgangers, top, in Sheffield yesterday at the launch of the new series of Doctor Who, starting on BBC1 on October 7.
She will star alongside companions Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill.
Jodie, previously best known for her role in Broadchurch, is certain she is getting equal pay.
She said: “I absolutely know I am not being paid less than any other Doctor.”
WHAT? Queen Of The World, 9.15pm, ITV.
WHY? The first of a two-part documentary, it has behind-the-scenes footage of the Queen on the global stage and shows how she is passing duties to younger family members.
YOU can’t keep a bad girl down and they don’t come any badder than Emmerdale icon Kim Tate.
The soap shrew played by Claire King, is back after almost 20 years.
She quit in equally dramatic fashion in 1999 escaping in a helicopter after attempting to seduce and kill her stepson Chris.
Now Kim is back and vowing revenge. Claire said: “As a Yorkshire lass myself, I’m absolutely thrilled to be back in Yorkshire for a fun-filled cameo, wreaking havoc in the Dales.”
Kim earned her bad girl reputation on the soap by having an affair with Frank Tate while his wife Jean was dying of cancer.
It was the first of a string of diabolical actions, so whatever she has in store next, it won’t be pretty.
BONNIE LANGFORD says starring in West End musical 42nd Street is the “polar opposite” of her role in EastEnders.
The actress quit her character Carmel Kazemi on the BBC1 soap due to the show’s “gruelling” schedule, but she says she is enjoying her new role as Dorothy Brock in the hit show.
She said: “It’s the polar opposite, this is just utter joy.”
JENNA COLEMAN has hinted that Victoria may be due a cast refresh like fellow royal drama The Crown.
She admits that bosses could be forced to replace her with an older actress when make-up can no longer make her look old enough to keep up with the ageing queen.
Jenna, below, told Radio Times: “We’re deciding on a series-by-series basis. In the next one, she’s starting to look a bit more matronly, she’s had six or seven children, so a bit wider, bit more of a bust, the make-up is more drawn.
“But there will come a point in her story when no amount of prosthetic make-up or me lowering my voice will be convincing enough.”
Jenna, who is now 32, has played the royal from the time Victoria was a teenager.
In the third series, due to return to ITV in the new year, Victoria is 29.
But with viewers dwindling, the show might not last long enough for the monarch’s age to be a problem.
A HUNGOVER Charity wakes up in a field in Emmerdale and lashes out at a farmer, who calls the police.
Let off with a warning, she tells her family she wanted to find her dad Obadiah but drunkenly passed out. Later, Zak confides in Chas that he knows where Obadiah is.
In EeastEnders, Mick is facing an awkward time in prison with tough guy Fraser — and things only get worse when he asks another favour. As a result, Mick meets a mysterious woman during a visiting session.
He follows the orders he has been given but, when he later returns to Fraser, he is given a dangerous ultimatum.
Meanwhile, in Hollyoaks, Tom and Jack are horrified to find out that Darren has been having an affair.
