GOGGLEBOX widow June Bernicoff left This Morning viewers in tears today as she shared her heartbreak over the death of her husband Leon.
Fans of the show couldn't stop crying as June spoke about losing her partner of 63 years in December, declaring: "I can't remember life without him".
The 81-year-old was left devastated in December when her partner of six decades passed away aged 83, after a short illness.
She appeared on This Morning today to talk about the new book she's written about their time together and her story moved fans to tears.
June said: "It's just nine months [since he died].
"Fortunately I've been very busy because I was approached to write the book.
"It's given me a purpose to set aside parts of the day to write.
"I think at first it was just the sadness cos I just started remembering the last few days he was really ill.
"But then going back and remembering the fun we had...
"I can't remember life without him, not really."
Fans flocked to Twitter to express their sadness over June's story.
One wrote: "I did not cry watching June & Leon Bernicoff's story...at all #ThisMorning."
Another added: "Aww June talking about Leon. #ThisMorning #JuneAndLeon #LeonAndJune #Gogglebox."
A third tweeted: "June talking about Leon on this morning has BROKEN my heart #ThisMorning."
June was chatting hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford about her husband on today's show.
Ruth admitted she loved the Gogglebox star because she reminded her of her own partner - Eamonn.
She said: "I loved him because he reminded me of of you... Cheeky, mischievous, intelligent. And he loved June."
However, Eamonn later joked with June: "He used to fancy my wife, he liked the bigger woman."
June chose not to return to Gogglebox without Leon and the Channel 4 series paid tribute to Leon in February during its first episode since the Christmas special, which marked his final appearance.
Leon developed pneumonia and sepsis from a short illness just before Christmas, and passed away after ten days in hospital.
The couple were the first pair to be cast on the hit show back in 2013, and soon became some of the most popular faces among fans.
June decided to write her tome, titled Leon and June: Our Story, in order to celebrate their life together - from when they first met at teacher training college in 1955, to finding fame later in life.
