Danny Dyer says family reality show with daughter Dani and Jack Fincham could be ‘brilliant or a car crash’ as he confirms they are in talks with telly bosses
The EastEnders hardman admitted the family are in talks with telly bosses to front their own reality show
DANNY Dyer says a reality show with his daughter Dani and her boyfriend Jack Fincham could be "brilliant or a car crash" - if it goes ahead.
Rumours swirled that the soap actor and his Love Island star offspring were being eyed for a Dyer family series.
The 41-year-old actor has now confirmed that the clan are in talks with telly bosses, and told Good Morning Britain's Richard Arnold: "We're going to go and have some meetings about it and we're going to see how we feel about it.
"It could be brilliant, or it could be a car crash.
"We're not just selling our souls to the devil, do you know what I mean?
"We're going to do (something) credible."
However, Richard said on GMB today that Danny told him he has more plans to work with his daughter on screen.
Richard said: "He said he'd prefer to do a bit of acting and tread the boards with Dani. But clearly there are a lot of big bucks on the table.
"(The reality show) would be more Osbournes than Kardashians I think."
It comes after Dani, 22, opened up about the possibility on the Capital FM Breakfast Show yesterday.
Chatting to Roman Kemp, Sonny Jay and Strictly babe Vick Hope, Dani admitted that:"There’s been talks about it, but we’re gonna see.
"You know, it’s one of them things that’s just like once you commit, you commit."
She confirmed that the Dyers had been approached: "As a family."
Before adding: "Oh god, I’m giving out some spoilers!"
When Roman tried to query whether the show would be like Keeping Up With Kardashians, Dani quipped back "The Osbournes!" before giggling.
The brunette beauty tried to remain tight-lipped on the subject but she did let slip that that the hotly-anticipated reality show could be in the pipeline: "It could possibly, potentially happen next year, yeah."
She even admitted that she "hoped" it would become a reality and said her dad and boyfriend get on like a house on fire: "They get on so well, it’s just easy to leave them. Go and have fun together."
