SCHEMING Hannah Gilmore looks set to show her true colours in Coronation Street next week when she hatches an evil plan.
She plots to take ‘mum’ Liz McDonald’s life savings from her.
Fans of the ITV soap have watched in horror as Hannah, played by Hannah Ellis-Ryan, was revealed to be Jim McDonald’s 'lover' and not the daughter he and Liz believed to have died in 1992.
Jim and Hannah have convinced Liz, Corrie legend Beverley Callard, that the Aussie newcomer is their daughter Katie and due to a hospital mix-up, she was sent home with the wrong parents and ended up immigrating to Australia.
With fake DNA tests they’ve managed to convince Liz and even told her that Hannah suffers from myotonic dystrophy, the same genetic degenerative illness as Jim.
And not only that but the devious pair want to take as much money from Liz and son Steve as possible before disappearing.
As the week kicks off, a downhearted Hannah tells Liz that the hospital are denying any wrong doing.
She says it will take too long to go through the courts to get the money she needs for her specialist treatment in America.
A horrified Liz researches the treatment and realises that Hannah needs £25k to be able to afford it.
Devastated by the thought of losing the daughter she’s only just got back, Liz offers Hannah her life savings.
