MICK Carter is left fearing for his life in prison as he’s targeted by bullies.
The EastEnders' bad boy is about to face one of his toughest challenges behind bars.
Mick Carter gets off to a bad start in prison in EastEnders next week when he makes some enemies behind bars, leaving him fearing for his life.
It kicks off when he’s gutted about not being able to speak to his son Johnny on his birthday.
He starts asking around about getting a burner phone and is told to speak to an inmate called Fraser.
But Fraser isn’t giving the phone away easily and tells Mick he needs a favour in return.
With little choice a desperate Mick, played by Danny Dyer in the BBC soap, does as he’s told, but when he realises the ramifications of his actions, he’s horrified.
When he returns to Fraser to ask for the phone he finds out something that leaves him totally chilled - and fearing for his life.
Later Mick tries to set the record straight with Fraser but ends up having a run in with another inmate at the canteen and realises it’s not going to be an easy ride for him inside.
His cellmate, Bob, tells him to lie low but – ignoring his warning – Mick decides to confront Fraser.
Fraser surprises him when he tells Mick he needs another favour.
During visitation, Mick meets with a mysterious woman – what’s going on?
He does as Fraser instructs him but is left worried about what’s in store for him next when Fraser gives him a dangerous ultimatum.
Later in the week Linda visits and is horrified by what Mick tells her while Fraser continues to torment him and gives him a threat he can’t ignore.
Mick is currently in prison as old school friend Stuart Highway, played by Ricky Champ, accused him of shooting him.
