Celebrity Island viewers slam ‘lazy’ Paris Lees as she becomes second celebrity to quit the show

PARIS Lees faced backlash from viewers tonight as she became the second star to quit Bear Grylls' Celebrity Island.

The survival series has already seen actress Roxanne Pallett pull out, while Love Island's Montana Brown is set to jet home during the next episode.

The transgender journalist struggled to cope with the lack of food during the episode, and claimed her legs felt too weak to continue with a scavenge of the island.

She later clashed with Pete Wicks, who accused her of not pulling her weight as part of the team, before hitting out at both Eric Roberts and Montana Brown for asking her about her transition.

After all the drama, it didn't take Paris long to call the emergency team and request they take her home immediately.

She told her co-stars as she left: "I'm not just doing it for me, I'm doing it for the good of the group because I don't just want to drain you and drag you down, you're all troopers."

Viewers immediately expressed their delight at her exit on Twitter, after Paris riled them up with her moaning throughout the episode.

One wrote: "Thank god Paris left" while another joked: "Hope Paris can manage to walk to the boat..."

Another slammed: "Paris is getting on my bloody nerves tonight, stop moaning or leave for f**k sake"

While others said of her attitude: "Paris has such a chip on her shoulder! Get over it, stop trying to find excuses and just pull your bloody finger out!!!"

And: "I can’t stand Paris. Constantly making excuses and trying to do as little as possible because “someone else will do it”. Giving it lip service"

Paris is not the first to sensationally quit the show, with Roxanne Pallett leaving after suffering a panic attack by the camp fire last week.

The actress' exit was screened the week after she left the Celebrity Big Brother house in disgrace, having falsely accused Ryan Thomas of beating her.

It has since been revealed that Montana also quits the series, after realising she "can't hack" the tough conditions and food rations.
