On Thursday, September 13, Justin, 24, and his 21-year-old fiancee were spotted by photographers at a courthouse in New York.
The couple had obtained their marriage licence, which means that their wedding will take place before the end of November 2018 as they have 60 days to get wed.
At the 70th Emmy Awards, on September 17, the model's uncle Alec Baldwin claimed that the pair "just went off and got married".
But Hailey denied this and wrote on Twitter: "I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I'm not married yet!"

The Sun exclusively revealed how Justin, who is worth in excess of £150million, had not yet managed to arrange a pre-nuptial agreement ahead of the wedding.
A source told The Sun: "They didn't tell anyone on their teams what was going on and his people have been frantically trying to get his business affairs and finances in order."
Then on September 18 the pair were spotted kissing in Hyde Park while in London and it appeared Justin was definitely NOT wearing a wedding ring.
Yet, on October 18, a fan claimed that when he approached the pair, Justin confirmed that they were married and called Hailey an angel for sticking by him.
Finally, in January 2019, the couple confirmed that they had officially tied the knot in November last year after weeks of speculation.
Now, just a few months later, the lovebirds have sent out Save the Dates to friends and family to mark their marriage on February 28.
Where will Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber's wedding take place?
No details of a potential wedding venue have been announced by the couple.
They want a small ceremony with their families and they are not planning a huge, celebrity wedding.
In an interview with , Hailey dished on a potential wedding venue saying: “I just picture lights strung everywhere.”
She told the magazine: “I think having it in the woods would be so beautiful,”

The pop megastar proposed to the model on a trip to the Bahamas in July 2018 and later confirmed the news on Instagram in a sweet tribute post dedicated to the blonde beauty.
