Mel B gets drug test all clear meaning Spice Girls tour can go ahead after ex-husband’s accusations
HERE is the proof troubled MEL B has got herself clean to reunite with the SPICE GIRLS.
In court documents filed in LA overnight, the singer has provided evidence she’s off drugs and has quit booze as she gives her lifestyle a complete overhaul following a tumultuous time in her personal life.
Scary Spice had no traces of cocaine or marijuana in her system when tested by docs, while traces of potentially addictive painkillers also came back negative.
Mel was determined to sort her life out following her toxic marriage to ex-husband Stephen Belafonte, who accused the America’s Got Talent star of being a drug addict as he fought for visitation rights to see his stepdaughter Angel.
A Spice insider said: “Mel is hugely determined to beat her demons.
“She wants to prove to her band-mates that she can be reliable on tour, while also being there for her kids.
“Mel knows her reputation has taken a battering and to even start turning a corner, she knew she needed to get clean.”
The tests were conducted by the Redwood Toxicology Laboratory in LA on September 7 and concluded the following day.
She took a second tests days later, to prove she’s still clean.
Mel also passed another drug screening on Friday with the director of testing company Drug Free LA confirming there was no sign of booze and drugs in her system.
I revealed last month that Mel was in danger of halting the Spice Girls reunion thanks to her desire to prolong the comeback for as long as possible, which didn’t got down well with Victoria Beckham - the least keen member.
Last night during an appearance on James Corden’s The Late Late Show, Mel confirmed the Spice reunion was very much on, saying herself, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner were on board.
But when asked about Posh, Mel said: “Well, we’ll see about that one. But us four are definitely going on tour.”
She added: “She may join us for a few.”

The girls, naturally, also had reservations over Mel’s health and whether she could actually be able to participate in any sort of comeback.
She’s clearly desperate to get it going.
