DAN Osborne has finally revealed the truth about exactly what happened with Gabby Allen when he was accused of having an affair with her behind wife Jacqueline Jossa’s back.
The Celebrity Big Brother star admits the pictures of him cosying up to Gabby on a yacht “looked bad” and he understands why his wife was so angry.
Dan, 27, was pictured lying next to the Love Island star, 26, as they lounged on the deck of a boat together during a boot camp retreat in Marbella in May.
The snaps sparked a flurry of cheating allegations as Gabby’s ex Marcel Somerville publicly accused her of bedding the telly hunk.
Jacqueline, 25, was heavily pregnant at the time and the couple had a temporary break with Dan moving out of the family home as the storm raged.
The former Towie star has now lifted the lid on scandal and said the snaps left Jacqueline furious.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun Online, Dan told us: “We’d done a bootcamp…
“We all got on really well but just as friends and nothing happened [with Gabby].
“The pictures on the boat didn’t look amazing from that angle, I am not going to lie.
“But we were all laying down on that thing and then Gabby is like sat on the side of it.
“And then I think [the others] got up, so the photographer just caught the moment where I leaned up.
“A picture can be anything, it looked bad. I understood when Jacqueline wasn’t happy about it and there was some speculation.”
Gabby’s former Love Island boyfriend Marcel called her out and accused her of bedding Dan during their work trip.
He later revealed to The Sun he was told Gabby and Dan were “having sex” in Marbella, and also after they got back to England.
When asked about Marcel’s reaction, Dan added: “I guess Marcel was probably angry like Jacqueline was when she saw the pictures.
“So I understand why he said something. I spoke to Marcel afterwards and it was all cleared up.”
Dan eventually moved back in with Jacqueline to help her out after the birth of daughter Mia in June and they are now giving their marriage another go.
However, many feared for the marriage during his stint in CBB with Gabby as he was not wearing his wedding ring on TV while he was inside the famous house.
When asked why he has taken his wedding ring off, Dan explained that he rarely ever wears it as he’s not a big fan of jewellery.
He said: “I am a nightmare with it, when I am tattooing and in the gym I take my ring off.
“I have always just got it somewhere and I don’t find jewellery comfortable in general.
“It’s in my jewellery box in the bedroom but you are still married even if you ain’t got your ring on.
“It doesn’t stop you from being married. Hopefully soon I will be able to wear it again.”
During his chat with The Sun Online, Dan admitted that going on the show saved his marriage because it made him realise Jacqueline “was not as bad as I thought”.
He also revealed the real reason Rodrigo Alves was booted out of the house.
