EastEnders spoilers: Mick Carter arrested for attempted murder as Stuart Highway wakes up
STUART Highway comes round from his coma in EastEnders next week and everyone has got one question for him – who pulled the trigger that night?
But Stuart’s answer leaves everyone stunned when he very firmly points the finger at his old friend Mick Carter, played by Danny Dyer in the BBC soap.
As the week kicks off everyone is relieved when the doctors say that they’re going to try and bring Stuart, played by Ricky Champ, round because now he can tell everyone what really happened.
Meanwhile Shirley Carter is convinced Dylan Box is behind the shooting and hatches a plan to prove it.
Later, Stuart is woken and Halfway storms out of the room, admitting to Whitney that he’s glad his brother’s okay, but he hates him for what he’s done.
Oh, you just wait Halfway, there’s plenty more to come.

Stuart’s daughter Zara, newcomer Faye Daveney, interrupts them announcing that Stuart wants to speak to Halfway.
A reluctant Halfway goes in to see his brother and is left cold when Stuart declares it was Mick who shot him.
Stuart is soon repeating his story to DI Arthurs while Halfway and Whitney try to warn Mick.
Stuart revels in the attention he’s getting and Halfway rushes to the Vic with the news that Stuart is awake and blaming Mick for the shooting.
Linda and Mick briefly wonder if they should try and make a run for it but Mick accepts there’s no way out just as the police arrive.
As Mick is lead away by the cops, Halfway comes to a worrying realisation. But what is it?
The Carter family are left reeling after Mick’s arrest and question Stuart’s version of events.
It all gets too much for Linda who storms the hospital and accuses Stuart of lying. She’s quickly lead off by the police but turns to Zara and begs her to believe her.
But Zara deals the Carters a crushing blow and corroborates Stuart’s story.
