CELEBRITY Big Brother stars Jermaine Pennant and Chloe Ayling sat apart in the audience during the series finale tonight.
The former flirty housemates came face to face for the first time, but they barely said a word to each other – despite their explosive chemistry inside the Borehamwood abode.
Viewers were hooked over the course of the series when it looked like romance was on the cards between Jermaine and Chloe.
And fans rushed to Twitter to comment on their extremely awkward reunion, after Ben Jardine positioned himself between them.
One person said: “I guess Chloe wasn’t allowed to sit next to Jermaine then”
Another viewer wrote on Twitter: “Love that Chloe and Jermaine aren’t sitting together hahaha, pure ‘banter'”
Jermaine, 35, is back in his marital home and is thrashing things out with Alice in the hope to rekindle their relationship, The Sun Online can reveal.
It comes as news that the former Liverpool player, 35, did split with his wife before going in CBB, emerged.
Jermaine’s best mate footballer Kevin James revealed to the Sun Online the pair are always ‘on/off’.
A source said: “Jermaine and Alice are talking again. They are taking things slowly. Jermaine is determined to win her back though. He won’t give up on them, and is hoping Alice will come round too.”
Jermaine spoke out about his interaction with Chloe on the show – which included writing her notes, flirting with her and calling it just “banter,” after she claimed she did not know he was married when she became the second housemate to be evicted.
Chloe launched a furious tirade against “immature” Jermaine after the 21-year-old model had spent days flirting with him.
Following his eviction last Monday Jermaine told Rylan Clark-Neal things were “hostile” between them.
