JOSIE Gibson has been rushed to hospital to give birth to her first child after dancing so hard her waters broke.

The 33-year-old former Big Brother contestant was celebrating her baby shower when things took an unexpected turn.

And, perhaps most unexpected of all, The Only Way Is Essex star Debbie Bright, 54, took credit for making Josie’s pregnancy come to an early end.

“I feel absolutely dreadful. Sorry Josie! I was making her dance. Please forgive me! Good luck!” the reality star said on Instagram.

Josie revealed energetic dancing had indeed caused her waters to break.

“I just got so competitive!! Best baby shower ever!! So good it left me in hospital,” Josie revealed on Saturday.

“Thank you for the entertainment @mredwardreid @xdebbietowiex @miadora89 @neonandblush and @piccolino_italian the venue was brilliant,” she continued.

The Big Brother star then begged for a free meal to celebrate her birth.

“Hey would I get a free meal because my waters broke in the restaurant?” she asked.

Josie made light of her situation.

“I had to post this because it’s so funny... I think the moral of the story is not to slut drop when you are 9 months preggers and maybe not be so competitive in our traditional dance off,” she laughed as she shared Debbie’s apology message.

“At the hospital I think this is going to be a long old stint! Thanks to you @xdebbietowiex for bringing on my waters early,” she continued.

“Thanks to @lydiabright @roma.bright and @iloveelhap can’t believe I thought it was sweat,” she added.

Josie is due to welcome a baby boy.
