Ariana Grande turns her Instagram comments off as cruel trolls blame her for Mac Miller’s ‘overdose’ death
ARIANA Grande has been forced to turn her Instagram comments off after being blamed for her ex boyfriend Mac Miller’s death.
The platinum-selling US artist, whose music had documented his struggles with substance abuse and depression, was found unresponsive at his home in Los Angeles on Friday morning after a reported overdose, age 26.
Following the news, the 25-year-old – who dated Mac for nearly two years before their split in May - was targeted by cruel trolls who inundated her with nasty comments, suggesting she was behind his death.
One sick comment read: "Poor Mac deserved so much better than that murderous w****."
Some blamed Ariana, suggesting Mac was affected by their break up, and her sudden engagement to comedian Pete Davidson.
One said: "She literally threw it in his face with no remorse."
Another blasted: "She broke up with him after 3 years! And then she got engaged with a guy she was with for like 3 months. Yeah I get why he would be upset and why he would wanna take drugs bc drugs stop all of the pain for a while. So honestly it is sorta her fault."

The singer's fans leaped to her defence, writing: "You’re really trying to blame someone’s death on someone.. you make me sick."
One wrote: "They loved each other, you don’t just forget. She will grieve just as any of us would and I'm praying she’s okay."
Another said: "I’m so sorry for your loss Ariana... anyone blaming you for this is a sick, ignorant, and lost individual."
Ariana is yet to make a public comment on the news, but is said to be devastated by Miller's death.
A source told Entertainment Tonight: "Although the two ended their relationship, Ariana always shared a deep connection with Mac and wanted nothing but the best for him. Ariana is very upset."
Another source said: "Despite their split, Ariana had always been supportive of his sobriety."

The rapper - who split with singer Ariana back in May - was reportedly found around lunchtime at his San Fernando Valley home.
Miller is reported to have had recent problems with substance abuse after he crashed his car in May and was arrested.
TMZ reports he fled the scene but cops say he later confessed at his home.
After his arrest Ariana tweeted: "Pls take care of yourself."
