PAUL Chuckle posted a sad selfie ahead of a gig without his late brother Barry.
And fans were quick to send their love and support to the grieving comedian.
Paul shared the picture of him looking reflective to his 144k Twitter followers and captioned it:
"It's strange being here without Barry #Darlington."
Within two hours over nine and a half thousand fans had liked the post and no doubt the sentiment.
And hundreds took to the comments section to offer words of comfort and encouragement.
One reassured the remaining Chuckle Brother that: "He will be with you in spirit Paul."
Another commented: "He'll always be in your heart. xxx"
And one fan said: "I can imagine it will be Paul, but hang in there mate."
One user offered comfort saying: "He’ll be right beside you, stay strong xx."
Many fans told Paul they loved him and to "keep doing you."
While others were more poetic with their words of condolences, referencing to their famous 'To Me To You' phrase : "Wherever you may be, no matter what you do, he will follow you in spirit, he will be right next ‘to you.'"
Speaking to The Sun Online from his home in Rotherham, South Yorks, former co-star Jimmy Patton said he saw Barry just two days before he died.
He said: "He needed oxygen from a tank and was gulping for air - he was in a very bad way.
"Barry had bone cancer which had spread to his lungs.
"He was ill for years, but kept it hidden.

"We knew about it, but kept it quiet, and all the family and his daughters are really hurting right now."
Following his death Barry's manager Phil Dale said in a statement : "It is with great sadness that the family announce that Barry passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife Ann and all his family.
"Barry with Paul had recently filmed a new series titled Chuckle Time for Channel 5 and he said it was just like the wonderful days of filming ChuckleVision for BBC One.
"The family would like to express their thanks to the many people who have been fans of The Chuckle Brothers and they know that they will share in part the great, great loss they feel."
Paul added in a statement: "I've not just lost my brother, I've lost my theatrical partner of many, many years and my very best friend."
