The Premiership footballer Jermaine sparked furore while starring on Celebrity Big Brother when he flirted with model Chloe Ayling
JERMAINE Pennant has won his wife Alice Goodwin back - by cooking a meal for her using his CBB housemate Hardeep's chicken bashing technique.
The Sun Online can exclusively reveal the former footballer has been pictured back home with wife after
they had 10 hour crisis talks last night following his flirting with Chloe Ayling on the Channel 5 reality show.
Jermaine, who never normally cooks, invited his wife back to their house - after she had moved out - for a romantic meal and the opportunity to talk about their relationship.
Alice thought they were getting a take-away, but she entered the kitchen to find the former Liverpool FC star cooking, something he hardly ever does.
A source said: "Jermaine went on to tell his wife that he had learnt a few tips from Hardeep Singh Kohli in the house. Alice started giggling when she saw him bashing some chicken breast he had bought, and that helped to break the ice.
"They had dinner and spoke for 10 hours until the morning, and Jermaine told one of his friends that he was giving his wife pure ‘love banter.’"
Jermaine was slammed by Chloe Ayling for dismissing their flirtations in the house as "just banter."
She called him "immature" during her exit interview, and Jermaine has since apologised to his wife and confessed he over-stepped the mark with his flirting.
The source continued: “Jermaine is trying really hard to win her back. He made her chicken, rice and sauce.
"He never cooks, and this is the first time she has seen him make a real effort.
"After dinner they had a really long conversation and sat talking for 10 hours. They hardly got any sleep and both fell asleep on the sofa."
“Jermaine obviously loves Alice and realises that he maybe took the flirting and banter too far in the house”.
“Jermaine plans to speak with Hardeep at the final on Monday to ask him what he should cook in the future, he has also been doing housework which has had Alice in complete shock.”
He due to be reunited with Chloe on Monday evening when all the housemates get together for the final.
