Who is Olivia Munn, how old is she and who is the X-Men, Iron Man and Predator star married to?
OLIVIA Munn has seen her career in Hollywood skyrocket since her switch from television journalism with roles in blockbuster franchises Iron-Man and X-Men.
Her prior career has clearly enabled the actress to use her voice to speak up for important issues and she has recently made headlines by discovering one of her co-stars was a registered sex offender. Here's the lowdown...
Who is Olivia Munn?
Born Lisa Olivia Munn on July 3, 1980, the American actress' father is of English, Irish, and German descent while her mother was born and raised in Vietnam, and is of Chinese descent.
The 38-year-old was born in Oklahoma City but was predominantly raised on Yokota Air Base near Tachikawa in Tokyo, Japan after her mother remarried a member of the US Air Force.
During this time, she became a model in the Japanese fashion industry before returning to Oklahoma to earn a B.A. in journalism with a minor in Japanese and dramatic arts.
Prior to her career in film and television, Olivia worked as an intern at Fox Sports Networks where she appeared as a sideline reporter for college football before moving to LA to pursue acting.
What has she been in?
After a number of small TV roles, 2010 became Olivia's breakthrough year after she first landed a part in date Night before playing reporter Chess Roberts in Iron Man 2.
She played the character of Sloan Sabbith on American political drama series The Newsroom from 2012 to 2014 before landing the role of Joanna in 2012's Magic Mike.
Olivia has had also been in Johnny Depp's action-comedy Mortdecai, and the sequels to Ride Along and Zoolander, however, she is best known for her role as Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse.
She voiced the role of Misako "Koko" in The LEGO Ninjago movie and can next been seen in the reboot of The Predator. She is also set to reprise of Psylocke for 2019's Dark Phoenix.
Why did she criticise Shane Black?
In September 2018, Olivia hit the headlines for criticising her director Shane Black for casting a registered sex offender opposite her without informing the rest of the actors.
Steven Wilder Striegel pled guilty to trying to lure a 14-year-old girl into a sexual relationship via the internet in 2010.
The 47-year-old has been friends with The Predator director since 2004 and has small roles in many of his films, including Iron Man 3 and The Nice Guys.
In Olivia's latest film, he shares only one scene with the actress in which he portrays a jogger who makes repeated sexual advances on her character.
It was the actress who discovered Steven's sordid past and alerted Fox studios who promptly removed the scene from the film weeks before its expected release date.
The actress has resumed her promotion duties for the movies as planned since the removal of the scene.
Olivia recently shared that, as the only actor to publicly speak up about the issue, she feels lonely without any of her castmates by her side during promotion interviews.

Olivia is not married but she was previously in a long-term relationship with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers from 2014 to 2017.
The shock split came weeks after the actress had sparked engagement rumours when she was seen wearing a band on her ring finger.
