GOOD Morning Britain viewers were left in stitches when Sir Benjamin Slade revealed his specific requirements for a wife.

The single aristocrat, 72, spoke about his search for a spouse on the show earlier today just days after a Sun girl wrote about going on a date with the "eligible bachelor".

Speaking to hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard, the millionaire descendent of King George IV - who owns 2,000 acre Maunsel House - said he wants a "lady of the house" who can "fly a helicopter".

Ben asked about the £50,000 a year he was offering plus bonuses.

The guest replied: "Look you always give them pocket money and obviously you pay them a bit more with inflation."

Kate suggested his search was a little like a "cattle market" as the businessman spoke about wanting an "heir and a spare" from a woman at least 5ft6 who won't go off with the handyman "like the last one did".

It comes after Susanna Reid revealed she had ditched alcohol for September as she looked fresh-faced yesterday on Good Morning Britain after a late night at the GQ Men of the Year Awards.

The host attended the star-studded event in London last night with her co-host Piers Morgan, looking beautiful in a bright one-shouldered dress.

Susanna was pictured leaving the event late in the evening, but still managed to look fresh as a daisy yesterday morning when the programme started at 6am.

Speaking to her co-hosts Ben and Kate, she put it down to her new alcohol-free initiative.

After Kate asked if she was feeling alright, Susanna said: "I am sober for September, is that a thing?

"I've decided no alcohol for the entire month."

She joked: "I decided that last night."
