IT’S the showbiz calendar’s most stylish event – so it’s no surprise Caroline Flack distanced herself from fame-hungry Apprentice flop Andrew Brady.
I can reveal the Love Island host was not wearing her engagement ring at the GQ Men of the Year ceremony.
She had the band on her finger all day while celebrating Andrew’s birthday with a bash at her home but ditched it before walking the red carpet at London’s Tate Modern on Wednesday.
The move was a bid to hide that her wedding plans are back on after their make-up holiday in St Lucia.
A source said: “Caroline is well aware people think she’s making a big mistake giving Andrew another go and doesn’t want to be made a fool of again.
She ditched her ring and walked the red carpet alone, even flirting and fooling around with her pal Professor Green in front of the cameras. But it was all for show.
“Earlier she had been wearing the ring and couldn’t be more loved-up with Andrew after working on their relationship on their Caribbean holiday.
“They’d secretly spent the whole afternoon together at her house celebrating his 28th birthday, where she lavished him with presents. She later got Andrew into the after-party as the night was dying down.”
Caroline, who looked stunning in a metallic zebra-print gown, split from Andrew in March after a month of romance amid claims he had cheated and was using the presenter for fame.
They soon reconciled and Caroline got his initials tattooed on her wrist.
They got engaged in April — but things turned sour once again the following month when Andrew announced their second break-up on social media.
If the wedding stays on, at least Caroline will be able to hook Andrew up with a good stylist.
Caner carnage
There would have been a fair few sore heads after guests hit the bar at the official after-party.
The drinks were flowing and my favourite caners were looking a little worse for wear as they headed home.
Dua Lipa flicked her middle finger after jumping into a cab, while John Legend and Chrissy Teigen enjoyed a smooch in the back of their ride.
They left kids Luna and Miles at home for a date night – and had a good reason to let their hair down after John was named Most Stylish Man.
Abbey Clancy looked like she could do with a snooze, while Isla Fisher kicked off her shoes after dancing in heels.
She left barefoot in the early hours with husband Sacha Baron Cohen.
Shame there were no fry-ups in the goodie bags to soothe those hangovers.
Rita in mesh
Rita Ora isn’t letting anyone – no matter how A-list they are – steal the spotlight from her.
The pop star made sure she stood out from the fashionable crowd by turning up to PR guru Matthew Freud’s exclusive after-party pretty much naked.
Rita opted for a sheer mesh gown which showed off not just her underwear but her nipples too.
Later in the evening, the strap of her dress snapped – risking Rita exposing her entire boob . . . which I’m not sure she’d be too bothered about.
I bet her musician boyfriend Andrew Watt wasn’t complaining either.
Playing up to the camera
Roxanne Palette’s second telly meltdown in as many weeks will be screened on Channel 4’s Celebrity Island this weekend.
Castmate Jo Wood didn’t hold back on revealing the actress liked to put on a show for the cameras.
It was filmed earlier this year, before the Celebrity Big Brother drama when she claimed Ryan Thomas assaulted her, and she quit the show almost straight away.
Jo said: “Luckily, she was only there for four days. She was always playing up to the camera. There was a lot going on, then suddenly she was in a terrible state and was leaving.”
But Jo, the oldest female Island cast member, relished the challenge. She said: “It was hardcore but fun. I lost a stone in weight.” I’m sure it was mild compared to partying with the Rolling Stones.
UK living looking Rosie
Rose McGowan’s quitting Hollywood to move to the UK in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
The actress, who picked up GQ’s Inspiration prize, sold her £1.5million LA home in January to pay for a legal battle against the shamed movie mogul, who she says raped her in 1997.
Speaking exclusively at the GQ after-party, Rose said: “I’m moving to England. I’m currently staying in Mayfair, but I’m looking for somewhere to stay.”
Rose, who later puffed on a ciggie revealed her future projects. She added: “I’m writing about how to be a young girl – the second you get your boobs. It’s about how the world gets loud and you get treated differently.”
Jeff into the joy of flex
BEING married to a contortionist certainly has its perks.
Jurassic World movie star Jeff Goldblum, whose third wife is Canadian gymnast and acrobat Emilie Livingston was smiling ear to ear as he cheekily divulged details about their love life.
In an exclusive chat at Wednesday’s ceremony, he said: “We have amazing sex in lots of bizarre positions. It’s great.”
Jeff, who is releasing jazz album The Capitol Studios Sessions with The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra in November, had a queue of ladies lining up to take selfies with him.
He added: “I’m used to this. Women seem to like having their picture taken with me.” I know the feeling, Jeff.
Kate out of my way
Ronan Keating might want to make his digs a tad more subtle.
The Boyzone singer claimed a well-known British actress shoved past him and his wife Storm at the awards – and it wasn’t hard to work out he was talking about Kate Beckinsale.

Speaking on his Magic FM breakfast show, Ronan said: “There’s this kind of flowing Bollywood style dress. In they walk, past us, past the whole queue, straight to the top of the red carpet, in front of the photographers and boom – hand on the hip.”
If there was any doubt who he was talking about, co-host Harriet Scott gave further clues: “She’s a British actress, in a big blockbuster about a big event in World War II.”
Ronan added: “We were disappointed, we wanted to really like her but we don’t.” Hopefully he doesn’t bump into her any time soon.
