Now now the ‘hostile’ atmosphere is over, Jermaine has said Alice has forgiven him
JERMAINE Pennant revealed he’s apologised to his fiancée Alice Goodwin for flirting with Chloe Ayling in Celebrity Big Brother.
He admitted she was “hostile” when he arrived home after being evicted last night but assured Rylan Clark-Neal they had made up.
Jermaine stunned viewers with his behaviour in the house and blasted him for lying to Chloe about his marriage.
Fans were gobsmacked when he later branded his actions “banter” and slipped on his wedding ring when the 21-year-old was evicted.
Despite his actions in the house, Jermaine, 35, said Alice had forgiven him.
Speaking on tonight’s Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, Jermaine said: “No it’s all good. It was hostile at first.
“I have apologised. She’s fine. It’s not nice and she has been embarrassed. I have to be a man and own up to it. I flirted too much and I took the banter too far.
“I regret stepping the line and saying certain things to Chloe. I regret the banter.”
When asked if he’d contacted Chloe since leaving the house Jermaine said he hadn’t.
The pair will come face-to-face on the night of the finale however and Rylan clapped his hands with glee.
Laughing he told the audience: “Well that is going to be interesting!”
Speaking to The Sun Online today, Jermaine said his friendship with Chloe had been blown out of proportion.
Jermaine said: “It was innocent even thought it didn't look it. Nothing happened, it was just a little bit of flirting.
“It wasn't a fling or anything like that. It was just me being immature and flirting.
“I have apologised for how it may look on the outside and if she's been embarrassed and upset.”
Celebrity Big Brother continues tomorrow night at 9pm on Channel 5.
