Roxanne Pallett accused former co-star Rhydian Roberts of hurting her on UK tour — as she steps down from Cinderella
IT’S been an explosive week for Roxanne Pallett after she accused Ryan Thomas of assaulting her in the Celebrity Big Brother house. But it’s not the first time it’s happened.
She has previously accused Welsh singer Rhydian Roberts of doing the same thing on a UK tour of Rocky Horror Picture Show five years ago.
The pair were due to be starring opposite each other in pantomime this Christmas in Cinderella in Chesterfield, Derbys, but Roxanne has since stepped down from her lead role.
Yesterday, she was also fired from her radio presenting job by Minster FM.
A theatre source said: “Rhydian was upset by the ordeal.
“He told pals he has been a victim of her exaggerated accusations too and was dreading working with her on the pantomime and because he thought it could happen again.
“He didn’t initially know she was going to be in it when he signed up. He was scared to be in the panto with her and if she didn’t drop out, he would.
“It would also be a massive blow to the theatre as she is no longer a big ticket draw.”
On Monday night Roxanne was grilled by Celebrity Big Brother’s Emma Willis and admitted: “It’s a lot to deal with. I’m the most hated girl in Britain right now.
“I am scared about the future. I just want to say I’m sorry.”
Perhaps she can bag a comeback role playing the evil stepmother.

No bonnet-and-bows for Jenna's new drama
Jenna Coleman opted for serious psychedelic style to launch her new Beeb drama.
Wearing this Seventies-inspired outfit, it was a million miles from her regal look as the central character in bonnet-and-bows period epic Victoria.
Her latest part in The Cry is also a major departure. In the psychological thriller, which starts on BBC1 this autumn, she plays a mum under suspicion when her baby goes missing during a trip to Australia.
Let’s hope viewing figures are not as disappointing as for the last series of Victoria.
BODYGUARD WINNER IN A FAIR FIGHT
THE Beeb has been quick to confirm what most of us already thought – that Bodyguard is the drama of the year.
After consistently attracting around 7million viewers, and millions more via catch-up, Jed Mercurio’s dark thriller is the No1 drama of 2018 so far.
ITV’s alternative, Vanity Fair, isn’t faring so well, with just 1.5million watching by the end of Monday’s second episode.
Now that’s gotta hurt.

Coleen's tears at trolls
Coleen Nolan’s showdown with Kim Woodburn made for compelling television – but the backlash is taking a toll on the Loose Women presenter.
Coleen broke down live on yesterday’s This Morning while revealing she had “the worst week of my life” after being targeted by trolls.
Vile comments included that she should “die like her sister”, a reference to Bernie Nolan, who lost her battle with cancer in 2013.
Coleen said she thought she and Kim were going to make amends on Loose Women last week after their infamous argument when they were in the 2017 Celebrity Big Brother house together.
She said: “It was like, ‘Let’s put it to bed, let’s make amends’, and it didn’t go that way. I don’t know what I did wrong. She needs help and I feel terrible for her.”
The pair of them need to forgive and forget.
