Emmerdale spoilers: Ross Barton steals from brother Pete to buy more drugs as tormented mechanic suffers horrifying breakdown

He struggles to cope with the news that police are looking for Rebecca White’s body at Home Farm

ROSS Barton hits rock bottom in Emmerdale next week as he struggles to come to terms with Rebecca White’s disappearance.

The mechanic is desperate for more drugs to take his mind off  the fact the police have announced they’re now looking for a body up at Home Farm as Rebecca has failed to show up – dead or alive.

He calls up dealer Gaz for drugs before spotting that brother Pete Barton has left his jacket behind.

Ross, played by Mike Parr in the ITV soap, rifles through the pockets and then discovers Pete’s left his holiday money in the jacket and sneakily pockets it to buy more drugs.

Tormented Ross prepares to take the drugs as he listens to a news report about Rebecca’s disappearance.

Ross then invites Priya Sharma, Tracy Metcalfe and Jimmy King to a party at his house later.

No one is particularly keen but kind-hearted Tracy reminds them that Ross really needs some friends right now.

Later, Tracy and Priya are apprehensive at they arrive at Dale View and a wired Ross opens the door with loud music blaring out.

Jimmy and Priya both feel uncomfortable and they leave, but Tracy’s heart goes out to Ross who is clearly struggling.

He opens up to her about Rebecca, leaving Tracy, actress Amy Walsh, heartbroken.

A drug-fuelled Ross then leads Tracy to the scrapyard where he encourages her to start smashing up a car.
