RYAN Thomas’ brother Scott has praised Emma Willis for not letting Roxanne Pallett get off lightly following her Celebrity Big Brother punch fiasco.
Love Island star Scott, 30, was a guest on Bit On The Side on Monday night – appearing just minutes after footage showed 42-year-old Emma pressing 35-year-old Roxanne over her behaviour.
The TV host took Roxanne to task over her actions after she petitioned Big Brother to evict Ryan, 34, after the ex-Corrie star ‘punched’ her during a play fight.
Scott said he was glad Emma grilled Roxanne over her actions.
“Thanks Emma for not sugar coating it,” the TV star said – revealing his family have struggled to see Ryan come under pressure in the CBB house.
“I was sat at home in tears. Mum can’t get her head around it. Mum is seeing her baby boy crying his eyes out on TV. Wow. What a superstar,” Scott continued.

The TV star also took a moment to put Roxanne’s actions into perspective after she had pushed to have Ryan punished when many felt he had not harmed her at all.
“Accusations like that are so serious,” Scott said – adding he is proud of his brother.
“I was blown away by Ryan in the house and I can't wait to give him a cuddle. I'm handling his social media and it's too much!” he revealed.
“He's left Corrie for a few years and we've joked he's been in the back door and now he's back to number one,” he added.
Earlier in the evening, footage showed Emma question Roxanne in a pre-recorded interview which aired during the main Celebrity Big Brother show.
Emma dismissed any niceties and got straight down to business, telling Roxanne she had blown the incident out of proportion.
Roxanne replied: “How it felt when he did it, it hurt. I can’t prove a feeling, no one can.
“The more I thought it became heightened. I convinced myself is that he meant to do it.”
Roxanne went on to say she needed to leave the limelight and take some time out.
She said that after watching the incident back she saw what the rest of the public saw.
The former Emmerdale star added: “I saw what every person saw, I don’t blame anyone for thinking why did she joke it off.
“I’m more shocked at myself than anyone is. I need to go away and think about it.”
