Although Emma grilled Roxanne over her allegations, fans – including some big name stars – blasted the former Emmerdale actress for ‘reading off a script’
CHANELLE Hayes blasted Roxanne Pallett for “reading off a script” and “repeating her apology” on during her interview with Emma Willis on tonight's Celebrity Big Brother.
The reality TV star, along with hundreds of viewers, claimed Roxanne made the “same apology” she used on The Jeremy Vine Show.
At the end of tonight’s instalment, Channel 5 bosses played the pre-recorded interview with Roxanne.
During the chat, she said she was mortified by her “overreaction” and said she was “sorry” to Ryan and his family for claiming he had “punched her repeatedly”.
Although Roxanne appeared genuine during the chat, viewers blasted her and said it felt like they were watching her Jeremy Vine interview on repeat.
Former Big Brother star Chanelle told her followers: “Omfg she has literally just learnt a script!
“She’s saying the same thing as she did earlier. What a c**k end!”
“Well, she’s clearly met with a lawyer with regards to what is ‘safe’ to say as she didn’t deviate from her earlier script and has a good management team ready to do some serious damage limitation. Glad @EmmaWillis didn’t give her any sympathy.”
Other viewers repeated her sentiments, with one fan writing: “Was so evident there was no remorse in those words and may as well had a script beside her.”
Another told their followers: “And Roxy's answers were so rehearsed. She used the same script with Vine. Full of excuses and bulls**t and she just really wants to save her career but it ain't happening.”
While a third seethed: “Excellent job @EmmaWillis your facial expressions said it all while Roxanne remained expressionless.
“Probably concentrating on remembering her script even though most it was word for word from this morning.”
CBB host Emma, 42, was praised by viewers for grilling Roxanne about her distressing comments about Ryan.
During the chat she revealed 10,000 people had sent in questions for Roxanne.
The scenes between Ryan and Roxanne saw over 25,000 people complaining to Ofcom.
