CELEBRITY Big Brother's Roxanne Pallett has "stepped down" from her radio station breakfast show job and pulled out of her role in a pantomime after the Ryan Thomas "punch" row.
It has been announced that the Emmerdale actress, 35, is walking away from both roles after The Sun Online revealed she's quitting showbiz.
Her spokesperson told The Sun Online: "We and Roxanne have decided today that she will be stepping down from her position at Minster FM, and from her upcoming role as Cinderella in Chesterfield. Roxanne will not be undertaking any more media interviews and will now be taking some time away."
Minster FM bosses also released a statement and said: "As a result of discussions today with her representatives, Minster FM can confirm that Roxanne Pallett has stepped down from her position at the station with immediate effect to take some time out and reflect on recent events.
"Roxanne will not be returning to Minster FM."
The star previously hosted the early-morning slot alongside Ben Fry, but has been slammed after accusing Ryan of 'assaulting' her during a play fight in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Roxanne had also been lined up to play the lead role of Cinderella in a pantomime in Chesterfield this Christmas, but she has now pulled out of the production.
A statement from Paul Holmon Associates, the producers of the show at the Pomegranate Theatre in Chesterfield, explained: "Roxanne Pallett has decided to step down from her upcoming role as Cinderella in Chesterfield in order to take some time out and reflect on recent events.
"We wish Roxanne the best and will be announcing her replacement in due course."
Earlier today The Sun Online exclusively revealed that Roxanne has gone into hiding and quit showbiz after becoming "Britain's most hated woman".
Celebrity Big Brother fans yesterday called for Roxanne to be dropped from her breakfast show on Minster FM.
Listeners vowed not to listen to the York-based radio station when the former Emmerdale star was on after she quit the Channel Five show having accused Ryan Thomas of "punching" her.
Roxanne previously presented the breakfast show from 6am every weekday morning with co-host Ben Fry, but over the weekend viewers demanded Minster FM take her off air.
More than 5,000 people also signed a petition calling for her to be sacked from her role in the Chesterfield panto.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, Channel Five announced that the actress had left the house after the Corrie star insisted he had simply been "play fighting".
Yesterday, Roxanne apologised on Jeremy Vine's Channel Five show in her first big interview since quitting the show.
Many fans have taken the side of Ryan and blasted her when she denied being a "liar".
