JEREMY Vine's Wikipedia page was hacked this morning after his interview with Roxanne Pallett was slammed by viewers as "pathetic".
The presenter, 53, was blasted for going "too soft" on the actress, as she apologised to Ryan Thomas for accusing him of deliberately punching her in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Jeremy faced backlash for his interview technique on Twitter, while Roxanne was branded "fake" and "attention-seeking" by fans.
One angry viewer even changed Jeremy's Wikipedia page to poke fun at Roxanne's behaviour, after she admitted she "overreacted" to her play fight with Ryan.
The entry read after the show: "His interview on his new show was the psychopath Roxanne Pallett. The interview descended into complete chaos when Roxanne accused a member of Vine's production team of trying to drown her.
"Footage later emerged showing that the production team member had actually passed her a glass of water."
The post was one of many mocking the interview on Twitter, which saw Roxanne detract her claim that Ryan had punched her on CBB.
She accused the former Corrie star of "deliberately" hitting her in the ribs "five or six times", after he accidentally caught her in a play fight.
The incident caused public outcry, with Roxanne making a shock exit from the house over the weekend after hearing the crowds chanting "Get Roxy out" during Friday's eviction.
She appeared on Jeremy's show two days later to take back her words, and confess she had read the situation wrong.
She said: "At the time it hurt, but when I look back on the footage, I got it wrong.
"My mind ran away with me. I am a sensitive person. My friends and family can vouch for that.
"I massively apologise to Ryan, his family, friends, his fans - every single person who saw an overreaction to what wasn't a malicious act.
"I am heartbroken in contributing to Ryan's distress. I hope he can forgive me."
The actress was the first guest on Jeremy's new Channel 5 show, which is replacing Matthew Wright's The Wright Stuff.
However, the Eggheads host faced criticism for the interview, with many fans claiming he was too sympathetic towards her.
