RYAN Thomas' girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh has demanded Celebrity Big Brother bosses revoke the warning they gave him over allegations he "punched" Roxanne Pallett.
TV chiefs officially reprimanded the actor after Roxanne claimed he hit her in the ribs during a play fight.
Lucy, 27, appeared on the Victoria Derbyshire Show today and she slammed CBB bosses over their treatment of Ryan.
She says they should take back the warning they gave to Ryan after Roxanne first made the claims.
The former Towie star said: " To draw a line under it, I want CBB to revoke the warning and I want her to apologise...
"I think they give warnings when they [contestants] do serious things, but he hasn't done anything, and we can see that nothing happened."
She went on to say TV chiefs should have reassured Ryan sooner about the incident rather than leaving him "in distress" for three days.
Lucy added: "He was in in too much distress for too long. They did have the proof and they let Ryan [think he was in big trouble] for two to three days. they let him break down, I think so [they've let him down]."
During the BBC Two interview, Lucy went on to say that's she barely slept since the incident was shown on Thursday night and Ryan's mum and brothers have been "in bits".
She said: "It's been very hard to watch."He's such a lovely guy, he wouldn't hurt a fly.
"We all know the truth, but for him to go through thinking everyone on the outside thinking he's a woman beater.
"I haven't slept much, it's been very hard, his mum, his brothers.
"His daughter she hasn't seen it, we don't want people saying things like the and her hearing it...
"It could be very damaging [for Ryan's reputation]..."
She said she wanted Roxanne to apologise and insisted: "I think she [Roxanne] needs to get help, it was a complete life... I don't think his hand even touched her."
Roxanne has since issued a publicly apology during her appearance on the Jeremy Vine show on Channel 5 today.
She also said she "got it wrong".
The former Emmerdale quit CBB on Friday in the aftermath of the row.
