Roxanne Pallett’s ‘reputation at stake’ after Celebrity Big Brother Ryan Thomas ‘punch’ row and will ‘struggle to get work’
ROXANNE Pallett could struggle to find work after the CBB punch controversy, it has been claimed.
A source told the Star on Sunday: "Roxanne is looking at an uncertain future.
"She will struggle to get big telly contracts now. This has been really damaging. Her reputation is at stake."
Yesterday, she sobbed and begged to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house before walking out.
The soap star quit the Channel 5 show in the early hours of this morning after claiming Ryan Thomas had “punched her”.
Viewers were seething at Roxanne and during last night’s eviction the 35-year-old heard fans outside the house chanting: “Get her out!”
The former Emmerdale actress broke down after hearing it and stormed into the diary room where she demanded to leave.
Breaking down in tears, Roxanne sobbed: “I'm going home, I need out, I need to go.”
Also in the previously unseen clip, Roxanne can be seen insisting she “isn’t lying” about Ryan punching her – despite him disputing it.
Viewers also claimed she was lying about the incident, with over 11,000 fans complaining to Ofcom.
The clip features a blow by blow account of the reactions to Roxanne’s story starting with Ben Jardine confronting Ryan.
As Ryan desperately tried to convince his co-stars he didn’t hurt her, Roxanne stood firm.
She told Ben, “he’s lying” when questioned over her version of events before agreeing that she believed “he wanted to hurt her”.
Her accusations left Ryan struggling to cope inside the house and has seen a huge backlash from viewers and fellow celebs.
Roxanne has since returned to the home she shares with her fiancé Lee Walton and thanked her fans for their support.
Her spokesperson told The Sun Online: “Roxanne decided to leave the CBB house late last night after deliberating for two days with some sensitive issues she felt strongly about.
“She has now been reunited with her fiancé and family and thanks everyone for their support during her time in the show.”
