CELEBRITY Big Brother viewers flooded Ofcom with complaints tonight over the treatment of Ryan Thomas.
Fans of the Channel 5 bombarded the broadcasting watchdog once again, just days after over 11,000 people complained about Roxanne Pallett’s accusations against the actor.
Those watching at home were again left upset as they watched Ryan’s plight on tonight’s show as he broke down in tears, fearing Roxanne was trying to ruin him.
Over the last couple of days tensions have risen in the house as Roxanne – who has since walked - told her housemates that Ryan had “punched” her in the ribs and intended to hurt her in a play fight.
Ryan has been forced to defend himself and things came to a head this evening, when Dan Osborne was warned by Big Brother to reevaluate Roxanne’s versions of events.
Taking Twitter to revealed their upset, hundreds made their feelings clear to Ofcom who are already assessing whether or not to investigate the show.
One person wrote: “Tonight I complained to Ofcom for the first time ever. I found it so painful to watch @ryanjamesthomas in such a state of how he was treated!!! It should NEVER have got to that point. He should NEVER have been given a formal warning. #cbb should NEVER have let it get to this!”
Another commented: “#CBB Ofcom contacted, my complaint has gone in, my complaint is how #Channel5 have handled the #CBBRoxy situation, which IMHO has been disgraceful.”
While someone else added: “Never complained to @Ofcom before until tonight #cbb.”
Earlier this week we revealed that 11,215 had lodged complaints with the majority in response to Roxanne’s reaction to the incident.
The media watchdog told The Sun Online: “We are assessing these complaints against our broadcasting rules, before deciding whether or not to investigate.”
