Roxanne Pallett’s ex-boyfriend Richard Fleeshman finally breaks his silence to slam her after Celebrity Big Brother ‘punch’ row with best mate Ryan Thomas
ROXANNE Pallett's ex-boyfriend Richard Fleeshman has finally broken his silence to slam her over the Celebrity Big Brother 'punch row'.
Last night fans of the show were left shocked when the former Emmerdale actress claimed she was "punched" by Ryan "like a boxer would punch a bag" and accused him of being a "woman beater".
The former Coronation Street actor was given a formal warning by Big Brother after Roxanne demanded to speak to a producer about something which made her feel "very uncomfortable" following a play fight between the pair, and she later asked for him to be booted off the show.
Now Richard - who is close friends with Ryan - has spoken out and revealed he doesn't agree with his ex's behaviour.
The actor - who dated Roxanne from 2001 until 2007 - wrote on Twitter: "Here's the thing... you can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time."
Richard had previously 'liked' tweets by Emmerdale's Charley Webb and fellow soap actress Hayley Tamaddon, who has appeared in the Dales and Coronation Street.
Roxanne caused plenty of drama on Celebrity Big Brother last night around Ryan Thomas
Charley had tweeted: "Watching Big Brother for the first time in years. Wow, just wow. #dangerous."
Meanwhile Hayley wrote: "I've known @ryanjamesthomas quite a few years. He is genuinely one of the kindest, warmest, funniest, happiest fellas I've met. And I've never come across a single person that doesn't think the same. We love you Ry!"
Richard, 29, also liked a tweet from Pretty Little Thing co-founder Umar Kamani - who is one of Ryan's best mates.
He wrote: "Don't know what's going on!!! But can we send a branded PLT helicopter to get Roxanne out?"
Ryan, 34, has received overwhelming support from his fellow soap stars and celebrity pals since the drama unfolded last night.
His younger brothers Scott and Adam Thomas have also tweeted in their sibling's defence.
Scott wrote: "I have now seen it all! Women like that are so dangerous! Trying to damage my brothers reputation over what was blatantly some harmless play fighting.
"Be a drama queen all you want but don't try and ruin someone in the process! Nasty that!"
He added in a further tweet: "I actually don't think it's fair that she even stays in the house after this...i'm in complete and utter shock. She's clearly unwell I'm sorry."
Meanwhile Adam wrote: "The sad truth is if it wasn't on camera everyone would have believed her!! #cbb @ryanjamesthomas love u bro."
This evening, after Big Brother 'teased' a clip from tonight's show on it's Twitter page, Adam posted: "Breaks my heart this just get him home!"
Celebrity Big Brother airs at 9pm tonight on Channel 5.
