Roxanne Pallett’s former Emmerdale co-star Danny Miller claims she’s a ‘compulsive liar’ after she accuses Celebrity Big Brother’s Ryan Thomas of punching her

ROXANNE Pallett has been branded a "compulsive liar" by ex Emmerdale co-star Danny Miller.

The Celebrity Big Brother star has sparked a series of Ofcom complaints after accusing housemate Ryan Thomas of "punching her" during a play fight and now Danny has joined those defending the former Coronation Street star.

Calling out Roxanne's behaviour on Twitter, he wrote: "Roxanne's a known, compulsive liar. Ryan wouldn't harm a fly.

"Horrible, attention seeking little liar. Goes from being upset & in pain to dancing & drinking.

"To going bed, crying she can't sleep in the same room as Ryan, to worrying about being nominated? You be the judge #CBB."

The tweet received more than 10,000 "likes" from fans and was just one of many slamming the 35-year-old actress.

Roxanne starred alongside Danny, who plays Emmerdale's Aaron Livesy, in the soap in 2008, before her character Jo Sugden departed the Dales later that year.

He wasn't the only one to stick up for Ryan, with the former Corrie actor's co-stars taking to Twitter to defend him.

Last night's explosive episode of Celebrity Big Brother saw Roxanne accused Ryan of "punching her" in the ribs, an accusation that has since seen viewers flood Ofcom with complaints. 

Ryan, 34, was given a formal warning over the incident and Roxanne later refused to sleep in the same bedroom as him, asking producers to put her up in a spare room.

Many viewers were baffled by what happened, with many defending Ryan, and they have been inundating Ofcom with complaints over the episode.

Nicola McLean blasted Roxanne as "disgusting" on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side.

Ryan's loved ones were also quick to react to the scenes, and couldn't hide their shock at what he had been accused of.

His girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh tweeted: "Please RT or like if u want Roxanne removed. I don't think she is mentally fit to be in the house. #cbb #getroxyout."
