Kim Woodburn demands Loose Women fire Coleen Nolan after ‘disgusting ambush’ live on air

KIM Woodburn has emotionally demanded that Loose Women fires Coleen Nolan after her “disgusting ambush” live on air.

The 76-year-old walked off yesterday’s show in tears after she believed Coleen and her sister Linda were “mocking her” when she started talking about the abuse she’d endured growing up.

Kim made comments in reference to her experience in the Celebrity Big Brother house when she claimed Coleen, 53, and their co-stars had “bullied” her.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online in her only interview about the incident Loose Women, Kim said: “I was ambushed, it was disgusting. It was like a circus and I was there for some cruel entertainment. I want Coleen and her sister fired.

“They could have stopped that show. The one who had the ear mic could have stopped it. But they did nothing to curb it.

“I was shown cruelty again by that woman. I’m embarrassed once again. And I’ve cried on TV once again.

“I do go at people if they go for me. I hope I never live to see the day when a human being in her 50s and her sister could mock a lady sobbing on TV.

“They should not be on that show. And I will do all I can to get them off it.”

Kim, who gave her fee for this interview to children’s hospice, said she was invited on the show to take part in a discussion with Coleen to see if they could work through their differences.

She told The Sun Online she agreed to take part and believed that, during the discussion, Coleen would say her part and then she be allowed to reply.

Coleen's sister Linda also interrupted Kim repeatedly as she talked about her childhood abuse in reference to how she felt in the Celebrity Big Brother house last year

But Kim claims once she was on air, they threw her off guard by asking her to speak first.

She explained: “I was told I would be going second so it threw me. I was fine to continue and tried to explain my piece. But then I heard Coleen and Linda mocking me when I was talking about my childhood and young adult life. They should have stopped it.”

As Kim spoke on the show about the abuse, which she said was the reason she found it hard to cope in Celebrity Big Brother, Coleen could be heard saying: “We got this every day as well,” before adding: “She's going to cry in a minute.”

Janet Street-Porter, who was chairing the panel, tried to calm the situation down but Kim would not be placated by her.

Kim stormed off and shouted: “I wouldn't want to sit and talk with lying trash. She's a horrible person. You are trash, you're a piece of filth!”

Speaking afterwards, Kim said the incident brought back bad memories from the 21 days she was inside the CBB house with Coleen.

Kim explained: “I love Loose Women and the people behind the scenes couldn’t have been more kind to me today.

“But why they let Coleen and her sister treat me like that I don’t know. To let me go on that show today, stress me out.

“They were sitting there mocking me. They had a horrible look on their face.

“They were mocking me. I’d like to see them both fired. When you can do that, the cruelty, God gracious I was very sad today.”

Kim also had a message for Coleen’s son Shane, who tweeted she was a “fruit loop” and said she “had mental issues” after the show.

In her only interview following the incident, Kim said she wanted to thank those who had reached out to her following the show

She said: “I think that was an awful thing to say. He shouldn't be using that as a put down to others. I do not have mental health issues. And even if I did, there shouldn't be a stigma attached to it.”

When asked about the support she had receiving following the show, Kim – who received a call from Rylan Clark-Neal in the middle of our interview – said she was overwhelmed with the support she had got.

Kim added: “Thank you everyone for being so kind. I feel like I’ve been held up and made out to be a fool.
