LEE Ryan has said he’s “learnt his lesson” when it comes to TV romances after being caught up in THAT infamous Celebrity Big Brother love triangle.
The Blue singer famously romanced Jasmine Waltz and Casey Batchelor when he appeared in the house in 2014 – which ended in tears all round.
When quizzed about history repeating itself at the Strictly launch last night, Lee told The Sun Online: “I think I learnt my lesson. I am just going to keep my feet to the floor and my eyes on my feet!”
However he’s pretty impressed with the women taking part and admitted he doesn’t actually believe in the Strictly curse.
He said: “I don’t know why they say it is like the Strictly curse. I can’t see how it could be a curse because have you seen the girls? They are absolutely gorgeous.
“Everyone is so lovely and I am single but I am not really looking to get with anyone. I just want to learn the Charleston.”
The star revealed he is “nervously excited” about the challenge ahead, saying: “I am most looking forward to learning the different dance routines and the acting. You can really combine the two!
“I am least looking forward to leaving because I think I am going to have such a great time on the show that I’ll probably want to stay. But you can’t live in the Strictly bubble forever!”
Last night the class of 2018 made their Strictly debut at the launch event alongside hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.
