Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist Lisa replied to a fan who said it must have been ‘painful’ to see Ant hugging his girlfriend Anne-Marie in Italy
LISA Armstrong has hinted at her heartache over the pictures of her ex-husband Ant McPartlin on holiday with his girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett.
The Sun Online exclusively revealed pictures of the pair enjoying a romance break in Italy last night.
Ant, 42, looked completely smitten with Anne-Marie and the pair hugged in the street as they took in the sights of Florence.
Lisa has made her feelings clear about the snaps today and shared a crying emoji with a fan who contacted her about the pictures.
The woman told Lisa: “Seeing those pictures of Ant hugging his girlfriend and looking smitten must be so painful for Lisa @lisaAmakeup.
“Really feel for her,it's not nice to see your ex with someone else, but to see it all over social media and in the papers must be twice as hard.”
Lisa, 41, went on to retweet another message from a fan which read: “It’s tough I’ve been there to and sooo disrespectful after so many years.
“It might not seem it but the best thing is to hold your head up high and be as successful as you cannot just career wise - men are weak and always need someone!! Women don’t…”
Earlier this month The Sun Online revealed Lisa had got a new tattoo on her arm which symbolised strength.
She has been vocal about her feelings regarding Ant's relationship with Anne-Marie, who worked for a long time as his personal assistant.

Lisa took a break in Los Angeles before returning to work on Strictly Come Dancing.
She is the head make-up artist on the show and is loved by the stars and crew alike.
Meanwhile Ant is taking an extended break from TV following his drink-drive arrest and subsequent stay in rehab earlier this year.
