Director Danny Boyle pulls out of next Bond film over ‘creative differences’
It's unknown whether the filmmaker's sudden departure will affect the film's release date in October 2019
DANNY Boyle has quit directing the next Bond film because of 'creative differences'.
He was set to start work on the upcoming new 007 movie from December in time for it to hit UK cinema screens in October 2019.
But today the official James Bond Twitter account announced: "Michael G. Wilson, Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig today announced that due to creative differences Danny Boyle has decided to no longer direct Bond 25."
It's not known whether Boyle's sudden departure will effect the film's release date.
Boyle was set to take over from director Sam Mendes following his stints on Spectre and Skyfall.
He has been working with John Hodge (Trainspotting) on a script for the upcoming film.
