CBB star Ben Jardine’s ex Steph says ‘I didn’t want to be here’ after she discovered his cheating in emotional Instagram video

CBB star Ben Jardine’s estranged wife Stephanie revealed she “didn’t want to be here anymore” after discovering the extent of his cheating.

The Married At First Sight star broke her silence earlier today in a series of 10 emotional Instagram videos answering questions from fans.

Sharing her feelings as she discovered Ben’s true feelings through the media, she said: “Eventually one night after he’d released something, I just couldn’t cope anymore.

“I knew that he would just never stop and there was only one way for me to silence it… for me to not be here any more.

“If he wouldn’t stop then I would, and that moment one of my friends called and, well, I’m here now so, I think you know how that conversation went.”

She insisted it wasn’t the breakdown of the relationship that crushed her, rather the gradual discovery that he’d been unhappy for so long and had seen another woman behind her back.

“I honestly wouldn’t have minded if Ben broke up with me rather than cheating on me and lying about it,” she continued.

“I have no bad feeling to him for wanting to be famous, but I can’t see why he had to step all over me to do it.”

In another of the videos Stephanie claimed he wanted to start a family with her before getting another woman pregnant.

Last week The Sun Online revealed the Celebrity Big Brother star was having a baby, eight months after splitting from Married At First Sight’s Stephanie.

Stephanie revealed they had plans to start a family – claiming they only split in March of this year.

Opening up about her heartache, after learning he had cheated on her by listening to him on a radio interview, she said: “Ben even said to me that I would make an amazing mum and if he found out the next day that I was pregnant then he would be the happiest man alive.

“That memory really hurts me now, because I’ve been told by one of his friends since, that the girl he got pregnant had conceived around this time.”

Describing how she felt, she said: “The bottom fell out of my world.

“My friends dropped everything to be there for me and took it in turns to stay with me. I could hardly eat, and every day was spent in a daze, going between crying at what my life had become and laughing at the ridiculous situation.

“After a while anger set in and I just wanted to tell the world what really happened, but I knew that if I did, I would just be bolstering him, and he was already standing on my shoulders trying to reach for fame.”

Ben entered the CBB house this week and admitted that he did kiss another woman while with Steph.

They were the only Married At First Sight wedding to survive the show, but just weeks after the cameras stopped rolling, Ben shocked fans with the news that they’d split.

The pair were plunged into further controversy when, just one day after Ben announced the marriage was over, a 20-year-old named Lucy accused him of cheating on Steph with her throughout the entire duration of the show.
