Why did Roxanne Pallett quit Celebrity Big Brother?

On the morning of September 1, Channel 5 released a statement confirming the 35-year-old actress had left the house.

A spokesperson for the show said: "Roxanne has decided to leave the BB House. The remaining housemates have been informed."

Roxanne's own spokesman then released the following statement: "Roxanne decided to leave the CBB house late last night after deliberating for two days with some sensitive issues she felt strongly about.

"She has now been reunited with her fiance and family and thanks everyone for their support during her time in the show."

Roxanne went to the Diary Room and asked for Ryan to be removed from the house after she said he had punched her and called him a "woman beater".

The pair appeared to be play fighting as Roxanne, 35, was walking to the bedroom.

Ryan, 34, seemed to catch her a little bit too hard, as she called out to him: "Ow that bloody hurt," before calling him a "woman beater".

Ryan was then called into the diary room and given a formal warning about "unacceptable behaviour."

In scenes aired on Celebrity Big Brother Ryan was seen apologising for the incident.

"I honestly want you to know I was showing my affection," Ryan said.

"Maybe it came across the wrong way, I just want to apologise. I want to put it to bed. I don't want it to affect other people in here," he added.

On September 3, Roxanne issued an apology to Ryan after a backlash from the incident.

She said: "In that moment - because I am sensitive and emotional - I mistook what was a playful act.

"He did apologise for it and say his ring caught me.

"It was the word deliberate I regret. I doubted his intention. There was no malicious intention behind that. That's what I apologise for."

Why was Rodrigo Alves kicked out of the CBB house?

Following Natalie's eviction, Rodrigo Alves was removed from the house by Big Brother on Day 10.

Dan Osborne revealed the real reason why he got the boot, confirming the Human Ken Doll ";did something" and acted “inappropriately” to him.

Rodrigo, however, told The Sun Online he had demanded to leave and said: “I’m no longer interested in the show or anything to do with it. Simply because it wasn’t for me.”

When did Celebrity Big Brother 2018 end and who won?

The 22nd (and potentially last ever) series of Celebrity Big Brother kicked off on Thursday, August 16, 2018, and ended on Monday, September 10, in a glittering final.

Presented by Emma Willis and Rylan Clark-Neal, the show’s theme was the Eye of the Storm and the series was the most talked about CBB ever.

From Stormy Daniels not turning up on launch night to the now infamous “punchgate” accusation by Roxanne Pallet, the show was action packed and full of drama.

Ryan Thomas was eventually voted the viewers’ winner with Kirstie Alley finishing runner up and Dan Osborne in third.

The civilian version of Big Brother returns to Channel 5 on Friday, September 14.
