Ant McPartlin’s ex Lisa Armstrong shares sweet selfie with dog Hurley as she’s ‘reunited’ with her ‘baby boy’
LISA Armstrong melted hearts as she posed alongside her beloved pet Labrador as she was reunited with her four legged friend.
With Britain being a nation of dog lovers, it is perhaps no surprise that fans were quick to get soppy over the image of the 41-year-old make-up artist lying beside her chocolate coloured pooch, Hurley.
Lisa – who is believed to be in the process of negotiating her divorce from Ant McPartlin, 42 – shared a snap on Twitter, much to the delight of fans.
The shot showed Lisa lying on a fluffy surface (the colour of which almost matched her bleach blonde locks) as Hurley placed his loving paws on her head.
“Mama’s love!! #hurls #babyboy xx,” the star – who is chief makeup artist on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing – wrote alongside the image.
Fans and followers were quick to remark over the dog’s adorable appearance.
“That face #hurls,” one fan commented in reply.
“Gorgeous boy, he looks so content and cosy,” wrote another.
Many other fans were encouraged that Lisa had someone to comfort her following the collapse of her 11-year-marriage to Ant.
“Aww. He’s looking after you,” one fan commented.
Another fan remarked that Hurley would be: “The bestest loyalist darling friend you can ever have. Who else greets you as a fur baby does.”
“There is no love like it. They love is unconditionally,” commented another, while a further commented: “The loyalty you get from your dog..” alongside a red heart emoji.
Lisa does share the pooch with Ant – who is also often spotted out walking with the dog.

Back in January, when Lisa and Ant’s marriage was revealed to have ended, it was reported the couple would battle for custody of the animal.
“It’s a very sensitive situation because they always thought they would raise him together, but they are currently sharing custody and there will be a formal agreement made in the coming weeks,” a source told The Sun at the start of the year.
