JOHNNY Vegas is giving up cigarettes to go along with the fatty fry ups he’s quit in a bid to keep his weight down.
The comedian, 47, is looking in great shape having switched up his lifestyle, and the next step on his healthy odyssey is packing in the smokes.
Sharing Ira Wolf’s melancholy track Sunscreen on Twitter, he wrote: “Early morning listening. Not a cry for help, just a lovely track…especially if you’re all out of coffee, love and cigarettes (although I’m about to ditch the third option soon) X.”
He then headed out to the pool, leaving his sons to use the wifi.
Johnny appeared slimmer than ever yesterday in an “embarrassing parent” picture from his family holiday.
The funnyman has steadily been losing weight in recent months after overhauling his diet and lifestyle following his split from wife Maia Dunphy.
Taking to Twitter yesterday, Johnny posed with a pair of fake Adidas flip flops in a shop, a sad look on his face.
He wrote in the caption: “Mini-me put his foot down and banned me from buying these Adidas knock offs for poolside. asidad….the no1 choice for embarrassing parents who can’t be arsed with branded labels.”
In the picture, Johnny can be seen in a long black T-shirt and matching baseball cap.
The Benidorm actor has lost three stone since overhauling his diet, swapping fast food for healthy alternatives.
Last month, his fans couldn’t believe it when he posted the picture on Twitter, alongside a snap of his healthy breakfast of eggs, chopped tomatoes and avocado.
One told him: “Wow you look amazing, well done you! I take it you are following a low carb healthy fats way of eating?”
Another commented: “You’re looking amazing, Johnny!”
Writing next to the picture, Johnny told his fans: “It’s a far cry from a Thatto Heath fry up….ooh you’ve changed Vegas.

Johnny weighed 18 stone at his heaviest and is now working hard to get fitter.
Although his healthy diet now consists of high protein meals, he still likes a pint of Guinness.
He said recently: “Is okay to feel just a teensy weensy bit pleased with yourself when a compliment over weight loss ends with ‘…you look fabulous!?’
“So glad I went for the healthy option now Guinness IS good for you!”
