RYLAN Clark Neal has admitted Celebrity Big Brother's future remains in doubt as "no one knows" whether there will be another series of the show.

The CBBBOTS host says Channel 5 bosses have not told the presenters if they are going to be out of a job.

The show is rumoured to be facing the axe due to a fall in ratings over the last few years.

Rylan, who hosts spin-off Bit On The Side, admits the show's future remains uncertain despite The Sun revealing a jaw-dropping line-up this year.

During an appearance on This Morning today, he said: "The truth is no one knows.

"There's always rumours. There's no secret that Channel 5 had a three-year deal [to show CBB]. No one knows [what is going to happen next]."

Rylan who won CBB back in 2013, went on to explain the meaning of the show's eye of the storm theme.

He said that every star who will enter the house tonight has been caught up in a very public scandal.

The TV presenter said: "Every housemate has been caught up in their own big media scandal.

"Everyone's got a scandal."

The show's host Emma Willis, 41,  has previously admitted that talks are taking place and the reality show's future is uncertain.

The contract for the show - which is now in it's 18th year - is up at the end of 2018.

Speaking to , Emma, 42, said: “I don’t know, we’re all waiting. I think they’re in negotiations at the minute. I’d hate to see it disappear.

“Fingers crossed we have a fantastic summer series and the channel want to keep it.”

Emma took over the reins of the show from Davina McCall when the show switched from Channel 4 to Five in 2011.

What could be the last ever series of the reality show kicks off at 9pm tonight on Channel 5.
