Why did Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split?
The couple filed for divorce in September 2016 following an incident on a plane when Brad allegedly lost control of himself and clashed with son Maddox, 16.
then released a joint statement where they said they'd agreed to settle their divorce in private.
In February 2017, Angelina spoke out about the divorce for the first time saying "we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it”.
In August 2017 it was reported that the divorce had been "put on hold" and they were even considering getting back together after "spiritual counselling".
Then in the following February they received court approval to continue negotiating the terms of the divorce.
In April 2019 it was revealed that Angelina, 44, had given Brad, 56, access to the children but currently they still haven't finalised the divorce settlement.
In October 2019 it was reported that the former couple were legally single but their divorce settlement had not been finalised.

Brad Pitt appeared to make fun of the once love of his life Angelina Jolie at the 2020 SAG Awards.
The actor won an award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood, when he made a joke about his two-year marriage to Angelina Jolie.
Accepting the award, Brad joked: "This role was a bit of a stretch.
"Guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, doesn’t get along with his wife."
Jennifer Aniston, who is also an ex-wife of the actor, smiled in the crowd when the joke was made and reunited with Brad after the awards ceremony.
A source believes that Angelina will feel disrespected by Brad's actions.
They said: “i won’t be happy – it feels hugely disrespectful to her to make a joke out of their marriage problems in front of a room full of their peers. She’d never do that to him.
"And Brad’s very public reunion with Jen will also feel hurtful to her – it’s almost like, throughout their marriage, the public seemed to want Brad to get back with Jen.
"I think she’ll feel very disrespected by Brad’s speech.”
How much did their divorce cost?
It's been three years since the couple announced they had separated but Angelina and Brad have still not finalised their complicated divorce.
The messy break up has reportedly involved various court orders and a custody dispute.
It has been claimed that Brad was not providing enough support for their six children.
Currently, Angelina has a reported net worth of £77million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, whereas is even more at a bank-busting £231million.
Together they have around a whopping $500million fortune.
Apparently the former couple are still trying to figure out how to split their multi-million dollar assets and property.
Brangelina were granted legal single status in 2019 through something called "a bifurcated judgment", so they could sort out the financial aspects of their divorce without the married status.
Who has custody of their children?
In April 2018 The Sun exclusively revealed that Angelina had given Brad access to their six children and some of the terms of the divorce had been settled.
A temporary deal gave him visitation rights to – Maddox, 18, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 13, Knox, 11 and Vivienne, 11.
They agreed to custody sharing, with Brad having access and working with Angelina on logistic issues about work and travel.
In August 2018, Angelina filed new documents claiming that Brad is failing to pay her "meaningful child support” and has not even lived up to an “informal arrangement” they set up.
However, the Fight Club star soon hit back by revealing he has given his soon-to-be ex-wife £7m since their split "to assist her in purchasing her current residence" and £900k in child support.
The feuding pair apparently came to a final agreement in December 2018 and at the time Jolie's lawyer made a statement saying: "A custody arrangement was agreed to weeks ago, and has been signed by both parties and the judge."
Jolie's lawyer Samantha Bley DeJean said in the statement to Reuters: "The agreement, which is based on the recommendations of the child custody evaluator, eliminates the need for a trial. The filing and details of the agreement are confidential to protect the best interests of the children."
