Samia Longchambon reveals she had to have stitches after her toddler threw a watch at her head
Her followers assured her that she's still beautiful even with her injury
SAMIA Longchambon needed stitches after her toddler hurled a watch at her head.
The Coronation Street actress, 36, was wounded by her two-year-old son Yves when he chucked the accessory in her direction and left her with a gaping cut.
Thanking her handy hubby Sylvain Longchambon for applying the stitches, she said alongside a snap on Instagram: "Ace times when your toddler gets too excited and throws a (big) watch at your head...
"thanks nurse @slongchambon for my très stylish butterfly stitches.. and yep, thank god i have a fringe!! #toddlerlife #counttoten #kids."
Her followers assured her that she's still beautiful even with her injury.
One person said: "You don’t need to be embarrassed with no fringe you look lovely even with stitches xx"
Another person promised: "Ouch you won’t have a blemish it will health fast"
The star, who plays Maria Connor in the ITV Soap, recently told The Sun she's learning reflexology to help ease her anxiety.
Reflexology is an alternative medicine that is said to relieve tension and treat illness by applying pressure to the feet or hands.
She explained: “It’s given me a focus – a break from my own head. It helps you relax and [it helps] with anxiety. That’s why I’ve been doing it.”
She also joked that she was not short of volunteers for the health therapy.
She added: “I’m halfway through the course and they’re all offering to be guinea pigs.
“I’ll have to make sure they’ve got clean feet before I start poking round.”
She previously opened up about suffering from anxiety since she was 11 years old during Mental Health Awareness Week in May to help remove the stigma.

She wrote on Instagram: "As it's #mentalhealthawarenessweek I thought I'd post this. I've suffered with anxiety since I was 11 (and possibly before that, but that was the first time I saw my doctor about my inability to 'get a deep breath').
"It is something that comes and goes with me, but when it's there it's awful and all consuming. I love that the stigma of mental health is finally being broken and people are opening up, talking and realising that you're not alone.. in fact it is pretty common.
"I'm not gonna patronise but just wanted to send love out to all people having a daily struggle... #thistooshallpass #gethelp #talk #breathe"
