Good Morning Britain’s Richard Arnold recreates Rihanna’s Vogue cover with THOSE eyebrows and has everyone in stitches
GOOD Morning Britain’s Richard Arnold gave Kate Garraway the giggles as he recreated Rihanna’s Vogue cover on today’s show.
The showbiz correspondent copied the singer’s incredible look on the cover of the British fashion bible’s coveted September issue, complete with thin eyebrows and an elaborate floral headdress.
Richard, 48, also wore a shiny purple lipstick and faux-fur trimmed coat as he joined Kate and her co-host Ben Shephard to discuss the cover.
Kate said: “There’s something about her look that’s getting everybody talking and it’s started a whole new trend.”
She added with a giggle: “Richard’s here with more on her look and he’s certainly raising eyebrows.”
Ben then asked Richard: “Did you wear this outfit when you got your degree?”
As everyone laughed, Richard quipped: “Oh please, I wore this outfit when we first met sunshine.”
Mocked up pictures of Kate and Ben with the pencil thin eyebrows then appeared on screen.
Kate said Ben “still looks handsome” while she said about her own image: “I don’t look any different, that’s a bit worrying.”
Rihanna posed in a string of elaborate floral headgear as well as avant-garde outfits for the fashion magazine, keeping her famous figure under wraps beneath the frills and ruffles.
In the accompanying interview, Rihanna spoke about her famous figure and how she hopes to hang on to her curves as she embarks on a new fitness regime.
Asked what it’s like to be a pin-up around the world, she said: “Ok, you’re asking the wrong person.
“I don’t know, maybe it’s because I’m ‘thicc’ now. I don’t know.
“I’m about to get back into the gym and stuff, and I hope I don’t lose my butt or my hips or all of my thighs. I’ll lose some but not all.
“And I think of my boobs, like, ‘Imma lose everything, everything goes!’ But, you know, it comes with a price.
“You want to have a butt, then you have a gut.”
The 30-year-old may have kept her body covered during the photoshoot, but she did flash a hint of leg in lace tights and thigh-high heeled boots as she struck a series of quirky poses.
