DANNY Dyer has warned Jack Fincham never to upset his daughter Dani after they leave the Love Island villa.
The EastEnders star, 41, met Jack for the first time in last night's episode, albeit through video-link, and while he's a fan of the pen salesman, his main priority is his daughter's happiness.
He told: "If a tear drops from my daughter’s eye then there is going to be issues.
"Listen, Jack – just look after her and treat her like a princess and worship her like the woman that she is, and everything will be sweet.”
However, he went on to sing Jack's praises and even claimed the two were alike.
“Listen, I will tell you what I love about Jack," he began.
“It’s the fact he’s got a belly, and he has got a body quite similar to mine in a way. But mine is more hairy."
Last night fans were furious at EastEnders bosses after Dani said her famous dad couldn’t appear on the show because of work.
The 21-year-old said he wouldn’t have been able to get time off, leaving viewers taking aim at BBC bosses.
In reality, Danny is actually on a holiday with Dani’s family in the US but it seemed to slip her mind.
When she was quizzed about the TV star coming into the villa Dani admitted she knew it was unlikely.
She explained: “I don’t think he’ll come in.
“He works five days a week. I don’t think he’d be able to get time away from work.”
Fans grumbled about missing the cockney legend on the show and grumbled about the lack of “big Danny”.
One joked: “EastEnders you c**** why didn’t you give Danny dyer a couple days of work, we haven’t watched this for 8 weeks to not see him in the villa…”
Another tweeted: “If Alex can get 8 weeks off from the NHS then EastEnders should give Danny Dyer a couple of days off!”
While a third quipped: “EastEnders you idiots why didn’t you give Danny a couple days of filming , we haven’t watched this for 8 weeks on end just to see him on Skype!”
Danny’s bosses aren’t actually to blame, however, but they might be avoiding social media until the hype dies down.
Instead he called the villa on a video link to cheer on Dani with her mum Jo.
Tonight is the final instalment of the hit ITV2 show.
