Kym Marsh gushes over ‘lovely’ toyboy boyfriend Scott Ratcliff but vows he’ll stay out of spotlight

Coronation Street star met the Scottish Army Major through pals and is completely smitten

KYM Marsh has admitted she’s smitten with her toyboy boyfriend Scott Ratcliff but said he’ll always stay out of the spotlight.

The Coronation Street actress said their relationship was going really well in her latest column after her fans pushed her for an update.

Kym has just returned from a family holiday in Italy with her parents and children, David, 22, Emilie, 20 and seven-year-old Polly.

Scott, who lives in Scotland and is an Army Major, did not join them on the vacation but Kym was quick to reassure her fans everything was great between them.

The 42-year-old wrote: “Scott is a lovely man and things are going well.

“It's early days, but so far everything is going well.

“I'm trying to keep the relationship as private as I can.”

Hunky Scott, who’s believed to be 12 years younger than Kym, was introduced to her by Corrie co-star Antony Cotton.

Kym first hinted at their budding romance earlier this month after spending her birthday at the swanky Hotel Gotham in Manchester.

She explained: “It is true that I’ve started seeing someone new in recent weeks.

“His name is Scott Ratcliff and he’s a major in the Parachute Regiment, and he lives and works away quite a lot.”

She added: “Both Scott and I were recently single – him some time before I was.

“He’s a good friend of Antony Cotton, who introduced us knowing we’d get on well, which turned out to be true.”

Scott, is a major in the Parachute Regiment, and trained at Sandhurst Military Academy.
