Brendan Cole admits he had ‘chemistry’ with Natasha Kaplinsky on Strictly but denies they had an affair
BRENDAN Cole has admitted there was "chemistry" between him and his Strictly partner Natasha Kaplinsky but has denied claims they had an affair.
The dancer's relationship with fellow pro Camilla Dallerup ended after he won the BBC1 show with Natasha back in 2004.
In a conversation with John Bishop, Brendan admitted he "couldn't hide" his "extremely close" connection with the newsreader.
He said: "The chemistry was there, plain for all to see... I didn't have an affair. Camilla chose to leave.
"Camilla left me three weeks into the show the night she got kicked off."
His comments come months after he told The Daily Mail that he "didn't cross any lines with Natasha."
Back in February, he told them: "I was single. Camilla had ended the relationship very early on in the series so what happened happened after that."It was a harrowing time — winning the show as much as my friendship with Natasha.
"On the other hand it was like, Holy Moses. It can ruin a marriage so easily."
Meanwhile, during the conversation with John Bishop, Brendan denied any problems in his marriage to Zoe Jobbs.

Back in May The Sun On Sunday published pictures of Brendan chatting intimately with tour singer Jenna-Lee James .
The pair were seen hugging and talking — while Cole’s wife Zoe was thought to be at home with their children Aurelia, five, and newborn son Dante.
Brendan was dramatically axed by Strictly bosses in January after 14 years on the ballroom show.
