‘Broke’ Katie Price enjoys shopping spree at Harvey Nichols despite ‘money woes’
The Sun exclusively revealed how Katie was selling off her beloved animals to make some extra cash earlier this month
KATIE Price splashed some cash in designer store Harvey Nicholls this afternoon following claims she was “broke”.
She was joined by her boyfriend Kris Boyson for an afternoon of retail therapy, with onlookers claiming she spent 90 minutes in the fancy retailer.
It comes after it was claimed Katie was being “forced to sell her house” to “pay off her mounting debts”.
The reported claimed there were “two charges... and a bankruptcy notice” against the house, meaning the mum-of-five had to sell.
It came after The Sun exclusively revealed how Katie had been trying to sell off some of her beloved farmyard animals to make some extra cash.
And it seemed it may have definitely come in handy, as she left Harvey Nicholls laden with bags.
But it wasn’t all spend, spend, spend as a kind businessman saw 40-year-old Katie and gifted her a suitcase emblazoned with a bee.
Katie beamed and thanked the man for the gift before heading back to her hotel with Kris.
When asked about Katie’s money worries, an insider told us she was having to make serious cut backs.
And with her divorce from Kieran Hayler to pay for, it’s not looking as though it’s going to get any easier.
One insider explained: “Katie hasn’t had the easiest time of late, and isn’t as flush as she was.
“She told Kieran to get rid of the animals but he’s been struggling to offload the llamas for £2,000 a pop.
“He’s selling her prize horses for £7,000 to an equestrian centre near her West Sussex home.

“And she has been touting the guinea pigs, goats and rabbits to friends and family.”
Reports last year claimed the Loose Women star, once worth £45million, faced bankruptcy.
She was said to spend over £10,000 a month upkeep on the family home and it was revealed two of her companies had banked less than £100,000 combined.
