Celebrity Big Brother star Psychic Sally hit with a whopping £3 million tax bill
The TV clairvoyant also wound-up her company last year amid mounting debts
BIG BROTHER entrant Psychic Sally has been hit by a tax bill she didn’t see coming – for almost £3million.
Sally, 66, a TV clairvoyant who tours the country with a talk-to-the-dead stage show, also wound-up her company last year amid mounting debts.
The Sun Online exclusively revealed this week that the blonde medium – Princess Diana’s favourite – will get an estimated £50,000 for joining Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother House next month.
Companies House documents show HMRC has lodged a £2,919,679 claim against Sally Morgan Enterprises, which the company disputes.
Essex accountants FRP – the liquidators – are also pursuing a £323,000 loan that was taken out by the medium and her husband John, 70, and never repaid.
The medium will appear in the new series of the C5 reality show
However, FRP says: “Based upon current information, there are no funds available for distribution to unsecured creditors.”
John and son-in-law Darren Wiltshear were fired from her management team four years ago after a homophobic rant at psychic sceptic Mark Tilbrook who handed-out leaflets outside her roadshows.
Sally – who also read for Mel B and George Michael – says she saw Princess Diana for four years and told her Prince Charles “liked a pair of t*ts”.
She claims to have predicted her death a year before and has since been in touch with her.
A spokesperson for Sally did not answer whether the loan had been repaid but said: “Enterprises is in voluntary liquidation due to company restructuring for the Sally Morgan Group. The group followed professional advice.
“The figures claimed by HMRC are not correct and have not been verified. The liquidators are challenging HMRC’s claims.”
An HMRC spokesman refused to comment.
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother kicks off on August 17 and has the theme of the “eye of the storm”.
Bosses pushed the start date back this year to avoid clashing with the hugely popular Love Island.
Along with the stars already confirmed, Meghan Markle’s sister Samantha has hinted she could be going into the house.
During an interview on Good Morning Britain, the 53-year-old was asked if the rumours were true.
