Love Island stars furious as Eyal Booker ‘breaks contract to join Celebs Go Dating’

LOVE Island stars are furious after Eyal Booker appeared to break his contract with ITV to join Celebs Go Dating.

The 22-year-old starred in Love Island this summer but has already signed up to the new dating show on rival channel E4 – before the current series of the ITV2 hit has even ended.

The news is thought to have upset some of his fellow Islanders who have turned downed gigs as part of their agreement with the ITV2 show.

A source told The Sun Online: "Most of Eyal's co-stars having been moaning about Eyal getting signed up for Celebs Go Dating when they're all under contract still.

"Adam, Zara, Hayley, Rosie have all been heard grumbling about it. They're pretty furious.

"They are contracted until August with Love Island. They have had to turn down opportunities and thought they were all in the same boat.”

The insider continued: "Now they've seen Eyal has got signed onto Celebs Go Dating they're not happy.”

Is there chemistry between Caroline Flack and Eyal Booker in Love Island Aftersun interview?

"They think he's become a favourite and has been allowed to break the contract while they've been made to wait.”

Since leaving the show Adam, Zara, Hayley and Rosie have mostly been working on Love Island related projects and  shows with ITV, such as This Morning.

A spokesperson for the show told us: "We wouldn't comment on cast contracts."

It's thought the Islanders are under contract until the two month long programme ends and are unable to participate in anything that would clash with filming of the show or the Aftersun Reunion show.

Earlier this year The Sun revealed that bosses were planning to take ten per cent of all Islanders’ earnings for three years after their time on the show has finished.

Producers have seen stars of the show including last year’s champions Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies earn thousands off the back of the award-winning series – which led them to consider taking a cut of future contestant’s profits.

The contract clause follows in the footsteps of other reality shows including The Only Way Is Essex.
